Heather Lake Trip

Well, Dave and I finally got out backpacking this summer! We went up to Emerald and Heather Lake, roughly 5.5 miles from the trailhead. All the rain we have received this spring, and are still getting, has made it green and lush!

It rained all night and into the next morning. I was making Ramen noodles for breakfast and this was the vista I was graced with! (If you look closely you can see the water dripping off the trees.)
